Try Failing — A startup survival simulator in seven languages, built from real closure, rent and loan data.

Public screen · checked October 2026

Where did it start?

We wanted to show people thinking about founding a business what really happens — as an experience, not a statistic. It had to run in the browser with no install, in each player's own language.

What did we build?

We researched closure rates, rent, wages, loans and the scams that target founders in each country and turned them into a month-by-month simulation. You are dealt a random founder, make a decision each month, share the result and enter the daily ranking. Static assets plus an edge worker keep costs near zero.

  • Month-by-month economic simulation from real data
  • 5 countries · 7 languages
  • Shared result previews · daily ranking (Workers · D1)
  • Pixel-art scenes and sound
  • No-install browser game · mobile-ready
